Loews Kansas City Hotel is seeking a warm, guest-focused Front Office Agent to be the face of our property, delivering memorable experiences from check-in to check-out. You will combine hospitality with professionalism, thriving in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail matters and proactive service makes every guest feel valued.

Your role emphasizes greeting guests, handling check-ins, and promoting hotel services while supporting a collaborative team across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year guest service experience in hotel hospitality.
• Experience with Property Management System, Opera preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Assign rooms meeting guest preferences and requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information per hotel policies.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to guests.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
• Process check-out and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Ensure Front Desk and lobby area cleanliness and appearance.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism and prioritize safety.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings; work varying schedules as needed.
