Job summary

Lafayette Hotels in Ogunquit, ME is seeking a positive, service-oriented Night Auditor to join our team for overnight shifts (roughly 10 PM–6 AM or 11 PM–7 AM). We value dependability and honesty in our night staff and welcome both part-time and full-time applicants.

The Sparhawk Oceanfront Resort is part of our group, located in Ogunquit near Marginal Way, offering a historic hospitality experience in a scenic Maine setting.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and independent.
• Friendly and service oriented attitude.
• Presentable and professional
• Able to stand on feet for up to 8 hours
• Able to read and write English
• Basic/intermediate computer skills
• High School Degree
• Some weekend availability, when we are busiest, is generally required in the hospitality industry
• Previous experience is preferred, but not required - we are willing to train someone with the right attitude

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and assist any guest requests - towel requests, noise complaints, lock outs etc
• Communicate any issues with morning shift and other departments
• Welcome late arrivals
• Walk property periodically throughout the evening
• Adhere to and enforce all safety and emergency procedures and inform upper management of any unsafe conditions
• Other responsibilities as assigned
