Veterinary Emergency Group The PC in Chelsea, NYC is seeking an Overnight Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Full-Time). You’ll join a fast-paced ER team delivering gold-standard care, including triage, anesthesia, monitoring, and ICU nursing for a wide range of cases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program strongly preferred
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state of practice required; VTS in ECC/IM/anesthesia a plus
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency veterinary nursing from triage to discharge
• Perform anesthesia, monitoring, diagnostics, and critical care nursing
• Administer medications, IVs, transfusions, and monitoring
• Collaborate with doctors and team to plan and carry out treatment
• Perform advanced techniques like central lines, endoscopy, ultrasounds when needed
• Maintain compassionate communication with pet parents
