Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced ER team. You will perform triage, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care, collaborating closely with doctors and staff while supporting pet parents in stressful moments.

Ideal candidates have AVMA-accredited tech credentials, 1+ years in a veterinary tech role, and a calm, empathetic approach. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in veterinary tech preferred; AVMA accredited program.
• Credentialed veterinary technician in the state of VEG practice is required.
• VTS in ECC is a plus for compensation considerations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Participate in treatment plans, communicate with team, and support pet parents.
