VEG, a leading veterinary emergency company, is seeking a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician. The role involves front-line emergency care from triage to critical care, collaborating with doctors to deliver compassionate, gold-standard service to pets and their families.

Ideal candidates are CVTs/RVTs/LVTs, with 1+ year of vet tech experience, including emergency settings. Expect fast-paced shifts, ability to lift, and comfort with noise and odors in a busy ER.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher in vet tech preferred
• Credentialed as a veterinary technician in the state; VTS in ECC/anaesthesia a plus
• 1+ year experience in vet tech; emergency experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity
• Excellent communicator; calm under pressure
• Able to lift up to 25 kg; stand for long hours

Mansioni

• Provide triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing
• Deliver nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge
• Handle medications, monitoring, IVs/CRIs, blood transfusions
• Collaborate with doctors and team to maintain smooth care flow
• Utilize advanced techniques and tools as needed (endoscopy, ultrasound)
