Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking an EM pharmacist for the ED, providing 24/7 coverage with 11–12 hour overnight shifts on a 7-on/7-off schedule.

Role includes clinical duties in code blue, trauma, stroke, STEMI, and rapid responses, with a focus on antibiotic stewardship, toxicology, and collaboration with the ED/ICU team. The site offers PGY2 EM residency involvement and resident precepting.

Qualifications

• BS Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• PharmD from an accredited school.
• ASHP-accredited residency plus 1 year hospital/clinical experience.
• 3 years relative work experience or equivalent fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Respond to code blue, trauma, stroke, STEMI and procedural sedations.
• Support rapid response calls across the hospital.
• Provide antibiotic stewardship and toxicology support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and precept residents.
