Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN seeks an overnight ED/ICU pharmacist to support the ED and ICUs on a 7 overnights/week schedule. The role includes bedside care, drug therapy recommendations, and active participation in resuscitations within a collaborative team.

Certification in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care is preferred, with state licensure within 60 days. This is a highly specialized clinical position within Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus, Rochester.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program OR Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pharmacy with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Preferred qualifications include residency in emergency medicine or critical care with 3–5 years of practice, and board certification within 12 months if eligible.
• Licensure in Minnesota or eligibility within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team in the ED/ICU.
• Make recommendations regarding drug therapy and identify drug-related problems.
• Respond to house-wide medical codes and support resuscitations.
• Educate and precept Pharmacy students and residents; participate in teaching activities.
