Job summary

MedStar Health's Night ED/ICU Pharmacist is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely review, preparation, and dispensing of medications for adult and pediatric emergency and critical care areas during overnight operations. This pharmacist will be based in the ED with a 7 on/7 off schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and Maryland Pharmacist license required.
• Residency or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medications for adult and pediatric ED/ICU patients.
• Maintain patient safety and comply with state/federal regulations and hospital policies.
• Label medications and ensure proper dosing, timing, and administration routes.
• Monitor for adverse drug events and report as required.
• Assist with selection, procurement, storage, and recalls of medications.
