Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist II for the busy Emergency Department in Boston, MA. This overnight position (9 pm–7:30 am) includes seven consecutive nights on followed by seven days off, with responsibilities across adult and pediatric pharmacotherapy, IV preparation, and quality improvement projects.

The role offers opportunities for education, committee work, and precepting APPE students and pharmacy residents in a collaborative hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Massachusetts licensure by start date required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ED to optimize pharmacotherapy.
• Improve patient outcomes and medication safety.
• Educate and train other health care providers and precept APPE students and residents.
• Work overnight 9 pm–7:30 am for seven days on, seven days off as part of ED team.
