Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Dock Supervisor in Tannersville, PA to oversee daily dock operations, ensure safety, and drive efficiency across the freight network. You will manage a shift, supervise dock staff, and collaborate with the Operations Manager to meet performance goals.

The role requires supervisory experience, familiarity with AS400/DYMS/BLU systems, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Overnight shift with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• 2 years of operations experience in transportation recommended.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AS400, DYMS, BLU systems and DOT regulations.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor safety of each employee daily.
• Evaluate safe loading/unloading of freight.
• Teach safe lifting techniques as needed.
• Maintain shift housekeeping for safety and productivity.
• Schedule and supervise dock staff and resources.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager to meet goals.
• Provide analyses for operations improvement and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT regulations and company policies.
• Operate AS400, BLU, and DYMS systems to track movements.
• Lead daily shift meetings and communicate schedules.
• Inspect tools and equipment for safe operation.
