Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Dock Supervisor to oversee daily shift operations, safety, and efficiency within our freight network. You will manage dock teams, monitor loading and unloading, and ensure compliance with required standards.

The role requires supervisory experience and proficiency with AS400/DYMS/BLU systems, plus strong communication to coordinate with management, customers, and staff. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Some college or Bachelor's preferred.
• 2 years of operations experience in transportation preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiar with AS400, DYMS, BLU and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily safety of all dock staff.
• Oversee loading/unloading for efficiency.
• Schedule dock work and manage time off.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate with managers, customers, and teams.
