Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Experience supervising dock operations in transportation is preferred.
• Knowledge of AS400, DYMS, BLU systems and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety requirements is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dock operations and supervise dock employees during shifts.
• Monitor loading/unloading safety and ensure proper lifting practices.
• Schedule shifts and approve time off while meeting OD and customer goals.
• Conduct shift meetings and provide feedback to improve performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT and safety regulations across the shift.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager to align with weekly and monthly objectives.
