Job summary

Ruan is hiring for a full-time onsite Dispatch/Customer Support role in Ankeny, IA. The team will provide central customer service and dispatch support across the Ruan network, including drivers and operations staff, with workload assignments and issue resolution.

The position requires 1-2 years in transportation or related fields, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. The shift is 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on a Sunday-Tuesday pattern with every other Saturday.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to provide good customer service and problem solving.
• Willingness to work 12 hour shifts, weekends; able to work overtime.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch workload for available drivers and monitor product movements.
• Resolve delivery and scheduling issues and update dispatch systems in real time.
• Respond to customer issues and update orders and emails as needed.
• Maintain an updated log of incidents and perform admin tasks.
