Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities in residential programs. responsibilities include daily living skills training, supervision, and community integration, with some overnight shifts.

Training in behavioral support and MAP may be provided. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel and web-based apps.
• Valid US driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living skills training and support during day/evening/overnight hours.
• Foster independence and decision-making for residents.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies in all tasks.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations where applicable.
• Transport residents to medical, recreational and community activities.
