Job summary

Bridgewell in Massachusetts is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. You will provide daily living support, skills training, and supervised activities.

This role requires compassion, reliability and strong communication; you must have a high school diploma (or GED) and at least one year of relevant experience. A valid US driver's license and ability to drive a van are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or 5+ years of verified relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in activities of daily living.
• Create opportunities for independence and decision-making.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations where applicable.
• Maintain daily progress notes and shift documentation.
• Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and community activities.
