Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional for overnight shifts (Friday and Saturday, 11:00pm–9:00am) to support residents with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities. You will provide daily living skills training, supervision, and community access, within a home setting and in the community.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, plus willingness to obtain required certifications and training.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills written clearly and articulately.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy to include proficient use of Microsoft products and web-based applications.
• Ability to drive a large vehicle and hold a valid US driver's license with at least one year driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in daily living during overnight hours.
• Create opportunities to develop independence and decision-making.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies in all activities.
• Administer medications as regulated and maintain required documentation.
• Maintain daily progress notes and shift checklists.
• Attend staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
