Job summary

Unity Bay is hiring a Direct Support Professional to work in a residential community setting in Moncks Corner (Morrow). This full-time role offers a 36-hour work week with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour and potential overtime. Training is provided prior to site start, and orientation is required.

The DSP supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them achieve independence and safety, while following agency procedures and maintaining a high quality of life.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with hygiene, grooming, and daily living tasks.
• Prepare meals and snacks based on dietary needs.
• Encourage participation in chores, activities, and life skills training.
• Implement and document Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and behavior programs.
• Complete accurate documentation in Therap and other required forms.
• Safely transport individuals to activities, appointments, and outings.
• Administer medications and treatments per agency policy.
