Job summary

Unity Bay is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Full-Time – 37 Hours per Week) in Moncks Corner (Morning View). The role pays $17.50 per hour with overtime available and paid training provided.

There is a mandatory 7-day orientation before starting at a residential or day program site. The DSP will provide support and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home, helping them gain independence, safety, and personal growth while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age: 18.
• One year working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid South Carolina Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision, and training to individuals with IDD.
• Assist with daily living, safety, and personal development.
• Prepare meals and support activities to promote independence.
• Maintain ISPs and documentation in Therap and related forms.
• Transport individuals to activities and appointments.
• Communicate changes to supervisors and nursing staff.
