Job summary

Unity Bay in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Full-Time – 40 Hours per Week) to provide support, supervision and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home. The DSP helps individuals achieve independence, safety and personal development.

First shift 7:00am-9:00am and 9:00am-3:00pm includes on-site positions; paid orientation and training provided; must complete 7 days orientation prior to starting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Valid South Carolina driver's license required.
• One year working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Support and training to individuals with IDD in a Community Training Home.
• Implement and document Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and behavior programs.
• Safely transport individuals to activities and appointments.
• Complete required documentation in Therap and other forms.
