Job summary

unity BAY Updated is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support, supervision and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home in Moncks Corner, SC. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with an hourly pay rate of $17.50 and requires completion of 7 days of orientation prior to starting.

As a DSP/Habilitative Support Professional, you will help individuals achieve independence, safety and personal development, following

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 18.
• South Carolina Driver’s License with acceptable driving record required.
• One year experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision and training to individuals with disabilities in a Community Training Home (CTH).
• Assist with daily living activities, health and safety tasks, and community engagement.
• Document ISPs, MARs and other required forms accurately.
• Transport individuals to activities and appointments and administer medications per policy.
