Job summary

Unitybay seeks a Direct Support Professional (Part-Time) in Moncks Corner. The role provides hands-on support, supervision, and training to individuals with disabilities in a Community Training Home, helping them achieve independence and safety. Paid training is provided, and overtime is available.

No experience is required, with 7 days orientation before starting. Schedule includes weekend shifts, 12 hours per week at $17/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid South Carolina Driver's License and acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision, and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home.
• Help individuals achieve independence, safety, and personal development per agency procedures.
• Promote health, safety, and rights; follow Individual Support Plans and behavior programs.
• Safely transport individuals to activities and appointments; operate agency vehicles as trained.
• Complete Therap documentation and communicate changes to supervisors and nursing staff.
