Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician II (L2) to support deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of data center infrastructure.

This role operates during overnight shifts, independently handling hardware installations, break/fix activities, diagnostics, and post-deployment testing to ensure uptime. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a data center or IT ops setting, strong cabling and rack-and-stack skills, and experience with ticketing, asset tracking, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a data center or IT operations environment.
• Experience with server hardware installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong rack-and-stack, cabling, and documentation skills.
• Experience with ticketing, asset tracking, and change management processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues independently with limited supervision.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts in a production data center.

Responsibilities

• Unbox, stage, and prepare equipment for deployment.
• Rack and stack servers, storage, network devices, and infrastructure.
• Install and manage fiber and copper cabling per data center standards.
• Label, document, and track equipment, power connections, and cable runs.
• Diagnose and resolve server/storage/hardware failures; perform component replacements.
• Document troubleshooting activities and update inventory records.
• Provide guidance to L1 Technicians and collaborate with engineering teams.
