Job summary

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician L2 to perform intermediate-level deployment, hardware maintenance, diagnostics, asset management, and operational support within production and non-production data center environments.

This role requires hands-on experience with servers, storage, accelerator platforms and networking hardware, along with strong attention to detail and safety in mission-critical data centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience supporting data center operations, hardware deployment or infrastructure support environments.
• Experience installing and maintaining server, storage and networking hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with ticketing systems, inventory systems and operational documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, cable, and deploy servers, storage systems, accelerator platforms and networking equipment.
• Perform structured copper and fiber cabling installation routing labeling and validation.
• Support equipment commissioning, operational readiness and deployment acceptance testing.
• Verify installation quality through physical audits and deployment inspections.
• Perform customer-directed hardware diagnostics and repair procedures.
