Job summary

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician III (L3) to oversee overnight data center operations, manage complex hardware and infrastructure, and lead critical deployment projects. You will mentor L1/L2 technicians and coordinate with engineering teams to improve reliability.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Night shifts and on-call duties are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• 5 years of enterprise data center ops or critical infra experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting of server/storage/network hardware.
• Experience leading deployments, migrations and infra projects.
• Strong knowledge of data center power and cooling.
• Experience managing high-priority incidents and outages.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical lead during overnight operations.
• Oversee daily data center activities to ensure continuity and SLA adherence.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and infrastructure changes.
• Lead incident response during service-impacting events.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and best practices.
• Lead large-scale server/storage/network deployment projects.
• Design rack layouts and power distribution plans.
• Validate infrastructure readiness before production deployments.
• Coordinate server migrations and data center expansions.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support for issues.
