Sodexo is hiring an overnight Cook for Parkview Behavioral Health Park Center in Fort Wayne, IN. The role involves preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold items across meal periods, following Sodexo culinary standards.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, uphold safety, sanitation, and quality while keeping a clean workstation. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–2 years of related experience, and the ability to read a recipe and follow

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsabilités

• Prepare food in accordance with current standards to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow recipes and product directions for soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts.
• Estimate food requirements, check production, and maintain records for production planning.
• Significant walking or other mobility; stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Maintain clean and organized workstation and comply with safety guidelines.
• Participate in teamwork and support other kitchen staff as needed.
