Sodexo is seeking a Cook I to join our team at SOUTHWESTERN BEHAVIORAL HEALTH in Evansville, IN. The role involves preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold items for all meals and events, following Sodexo culinary standards.

We offer a flexible, supportive work environment with opportunities for training, benefits, and advancement. The ideal candidate has 0–2 years of experience and can read and follow recipes precisely while maintaining safety and sanitation

Formación

• High School diploma or GED; 0–2 years in food service.
• Ability to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.
• Knowledge of basic food-handling procedures.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, portion, cook and present hot and cold items per standards.
• Maintain safe, clean kitchen workstation.
• Support high-quality, consistent dishes for meals and events.
• Follow recipes and product directions for preparation.
• Estimate production needs and manage supplies.
• Walk/stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Attend shifts on time and with regularity.
• Perform other duties as needed.
