Job summary

The Concierge and Page roles at Barkan Management Company are based at a Boston-area property. You will greet residents, assist with deliveries and services, and coordinate with the front desk and building staff to maintain a secure, welcoming environment.

Expected duties include supervising staff, handling after-hours requests, enforcing building policies, and delivering high-level customer service to residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of area (Restaurants, transportation, events)
• Service and hospitality experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of property rules and policies
• Greet residents and guests professionally
• Announce guests to units
• Familiarity with service providers (limousines, taxis, cleaners, pet services, food delivery)
• Keep front lobby well maintained and secure
• Coordinate resident requests and respond promptly to service needs
• Supervise Page staff and ensure courteous service
• Ensure front desk coverage and proper badge policy for visitors
• Handle deliveries and log tasks
• Route maintenance/service requests during business hours; escalate after hours as needed
• Log key requests and maintain security badges for contractors
• Monitor safety systems and report issues
• Assist with deliveries and information about local activities
• Document resident issues and resolve with appropriate department
• Maintain vendor listings and appearance standards
