Job summary

Comfort Keepers of Minnesota is hiring an in-home caregiver to work an awake overnight shift from 11pm to 7am. Wages start at $18/hour, with $20/hour for Certified Nursing Assistants, and free CNA classes after 5 months.

Part-time and full-time schedules are available based on your availability. As an in-home caregiver, you will help clients stay safe, comfortable and independent at home, assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship, while

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene assistance.
• Light housekeeping (bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, laundry).
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive caregiving.
• Mobility assistance with transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Electronic documentation of shifts and cares.

Comfort Keepers is now hiring an in home, overnight CNA. Primary position would be an awake 11pm to 7am shift with additional hours available if interested!

Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

About the Job
