Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring an in-home, overnight CNA for an awake 11pm to 7am shift. Additional hours available. Wage starts at $18/hr; CNAs earn $20/hr. After five months, eligible for free CNA classes through Scrubs Academy.

Part-time and full-time opportunities exist. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility, medications, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship at clients' homes. Requires DHS background clearance and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role required.
• Must be available every other weekend and holidays.
• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Own reliable transportation and clean driving record; 3+ years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Provide personal care including dressing, grooming, incontinence support and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, dishes, vacuming.
• Meal planning, cooking and nutrition support.
• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Assist with mobility and use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assist with medications as directed and document shifts.

Comfort Keepers is now hiring an in home, overnight CNA. Primary position would be an awake 11pm to 7am shift with additional hours available if interested!

Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Part time and full-time hours available depending on your availability.

About the Job

As an in-home caregiver, you will clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
• Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.

Comfort Keepers Requirements
