Comfort Keepers is recruiting for an in-home CNA in the Avon area. The role offers part-time or full-time hours with wage starts at $18 per hour, increasing to $20 per hour for Certified Nursing Assistants.

After 5 months of employment, eligible employees can enroll in free CNA classes through Scrubs Academy. The caregiver will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes, with duties including ADL assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living.
• Help with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping (bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, laundry).
• Plan meals, cook and bake.
• Provide conversation and companionship.
• Engage in Interactive Caregiving.
• Assist with mobility and transfer tools/equipment.

About the Job

As an in-home caregiver, you will clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
• Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer's care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.
