Job summary

Comfort Keepers is now hiring a part-time CNA for the Avon area. Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

As an in-home caregiver, you will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, mobility, medication, meal planning, and companionship, along with documentation of care.

Qualifications

• Must have caregiving experience.
• Available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver''s license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
• Hands-on personal cares including dressing, grooming, incontinence, hygiene.
• Light housekeeping: bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, laundry, etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Mobility assistance using transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer''s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Electronic documentation of shift and cares.

About the Job
