Rescue Mission Alliance of Syracuse, NY is seeking a Full Time Client Care Specialist for the Crossroads Adult Care Facility. The role covers Sundays through Thursdays on the 3rd shift (10:45pm–7:15am) with a pay rate of $17.00/hour plus a $2.00/hour shift differential.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications to residents, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and supporting clients toward independence while upholding professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Experience working with homeless, addicted and/or mentally ill clients desired.

Responsabilités

• Develops rapport with clients and provides support, encouragement, and motivation toward independence while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Participates as a team member to ensure the best possible care by completing rounds, monitoring facilities, and conducting drug and breathalyzer tests.
• Distributes personal care items and bedding, enforces guidelines, and refers clients to internal services as needed.
• Shares pertinent client information through documentation and meetings, maintaining confidentiality.
