Job summary

Rescue Mission Alliance of Syracuse, NY is seeking a Full Time Client Care Specialist for Crossroads Adult Care Facility, working Thursdays through Mondays from 2:30pm to 11:00pm. The role includes dispensing medications, ensuring a safe, clean living environment, and supporting residents toward independence.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with preferred associates degree in human services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in human services or related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Experience working with homeless, addicted and/or mentally ill clients desired.
• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as required by the Dept. of Health.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispensing medications to residents and assist in maintaining a safe, clean environment.
• Develop rapport with clients and provide support, encouragement, and motivation toward independence.
• Complete rounds, monitor facilities, and facilitate drug and breathalyzer tests; enforce guidelines as appropriate.
• Document pertinent client information, participate in meetings, and maintain confidentiality.
