Rescue Mission Alliance of Syracuse, NY is seeking a Client Care Specialist for the Crossroads Adult Care Facility. This full-time role offers evenings, Sundays through Thursdays, with a starting pay of $17/hour plus a $1 shift differential for the 2:30pm–11:00pm shift.

You’ll support clients, monitor facilities, and coordinate with internal services to promote independence and dignity. Strong communication, crisis-management, and empathy are essential.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in human services or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Experience with homeless, addicted, and/or mentally ill clients desired.
• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as required by the Dept. of Health.
• Must comply with CDC guidelines regarding Covid-19, including masks when working.
• Strong communication and interviewing skills.
• Crisis management and interpersonal abilities.
• Computer literacy and time management.

Responsabilidades

• Develop rapport with clients and provide support; motivate toward independence while maintaining boundaries.
• Participate in rounds; monitor facilities; facilitate drug and breathalyzer tests.
• Distribute personal care items and bedding; enforce guidelines as appropriate.
• Refer clients to internal services; share pertinent information with confidentiality.
• Document client information and participate in meetings.
