Job summary

COPE Community Services, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Behavioral Health Specialist to monitor patients overnight, engage with awake clients, and perform essential charting and temperature logging.

You will work within a treatment team to implement individual plans and provide positive redirection and support. The role includes completing logs and audits, and collaborating with staff to maintain safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Preferred degrees include Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field.
• Certifications listed in the job posting may supplement experience.

• Clean, document temperature logs, and conduct chart audits.
• Provide client supervision and care as part of the treatment team.
• Read and implement a client’s treatment plan and offer positive cues.

Job description

The Overnight Behavioral Health Specialist is responsible for checking on patients throughout the night, interact with patients who are awake, clean, complete temperature logs, and chart audits. The Behavioral Health Specialist will provide client supervision and care as part of the treatment team. Read and implement a client’s treatment plan.
