Job summary

COPE Community Services, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Health Specialist to join the Tucson treatment team. You will supervise clients, facilitate daily programs, and support daily living activities and therapy groups. Read and implement treatment plans and provide positive cues and redirection as needed.

The role operates on a Wednesday 12:00pm–6:00pm shift and Thursday–Saturday 6:00am–6:00pm, with a safety-sensitive position policy and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old and hold a valid AZ driver's license.
• Background check and drug screen required prior to employment.
• Ability to supervise daily milieu and participate in therapy groups.

Job description

The Behavioral Health Specialist will provide client supervision and care as part of the treatment team. The BHS will supervise and facilitate daily milieu of programs/services as assigned, such as assisting with activities of daily living skills, educational and community/recovery groups, and activity therapy. Read and implement a client’s treatment plan.
