Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Arlington, TX seeks a Night Auditor to reconcile cashier transactions, prepare reports, and ensure accurate guest billing and city ledger entries. The role supports management and performs guest service duties as needed.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, familiarity with financial data, strong communication, and the ability to multitask overnight shifts in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Must understand financial information and data.
• Guest Service Experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to cross train in hotel-related areas.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile hotel cashier transactions and management reports.
• Communicate concerns to management.
• Perform guest services duties (check-in/check-out, reservations).
• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Prepare daily reports (Daily Operating Report, Tax Reports).
• Prepare month-end reports.
• Audit Front Desk and F&B cashiers’ work.
• Audit and transmit credit card transactions timely.
• Maintain accuracy of all reported numbers.
• Input/update financial information into corporate networks.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly data processing tasks.
• Keep management informed of unusual events.
• Ensure guest satisfaction.
• Respond to governmental inquiries.
