Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Night Auditor to reconcile cashier transactions, review reports, and ensure accurate guest billing. You will support front desk operations, handle reservations, and provide guest services as needed, including check-in and check-out.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, willingness to work late/overnight shifts, and strong cash handling and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• Guest Service Experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge/skills required.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Sedentary work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, etc.
• Late/Overnight shift.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile hotel cashier transactions and compile reports.
• Assist with check-in/check-out, reservations, and switchboard duties.
• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Prepare and distribute daily and month-end reports.
• Maintain accuracy of numbers and support Front Desk operations.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and respond to inquiries from guests and management.
