Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Laredo is seeking a Night Auditor to reconcile cashier transactions, prepare management reports, and ensure accurate guest billing. You will assist with check-in/out and handle reservations while maintaining excellent guest service.

The role requires late/overnight shifts, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across accounting tasks and front desk duties. This hourly position offers growth in hotel operations in a dynamic property environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• Guest Service experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge/skills required.
• Late/Overnight shift
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile hotel cashier transactions and financial reports.
• Prepare and distribute daily operating reports and other required reports.
• Assist with check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest requests.
• Audit and reconcile Front Desk and City Ledger transactions and credit cards.
• Ensure accuracy of all numbers and maintain confidentiality of information.
