Job summary

KRE Security, LLC is actively seeking an Armed ACT 235 Field Supervisor for an overnight, field-based supervisory role in Reading, PA. The position emphasizes leadership of security officers, incident response, and client coordination.

Schedule is primarily 11:00 PM–7:00 AM with flexibility to cover needs. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of armed security experience, valid PA ACT 235 certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• PA ACT 235 certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of armed security experience.
• Strong supervisory and field leadership experience preferred.
• Able to work overnight and travel between sites.
• Excellent communication and judgment skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support officers assigned to client locations.
• Conduct routine field visits, post checks, and officer welfare checks.
• Ensure officers are properly assigned, present, and performing duties per post orders and policies.
• Respond to incidents, officer concerns, client requests, and operational issues.
• Assist with filling coverage and last-minute staffing needs.
• Provide guidance to officers in the field while maintaining standards.
• Support with special events, assignments, and temporary coverage needs.
• Communicate effectively with management, scheduling personnel, officers, and clients.
• Complete required reports and follow-up related to field activities and incidents.
• Identify and communicate operational concerns to management promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent KRE Security appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
