Job summary

Meijer is seeking an Overnight Stocking Manager to join our West Grand Rapids store locations. You will lead team members, ensure onboarding and development, and drive store operations and staffing decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 4+ years in retail/grocery or customer service with progressive leadership experience. Focus on safety, budgeting, and enhancing customer service is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
Progressive leadership experience preferred.
A passion to provide industry leading service.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members and guide them.

Responsibilities

Engage with team members to ensure onboarding, training and development with coaching and feedback.
Identify talent and support staffing and leadership pipelines.
Ensure Meijer standards are upheld and teams can grow within the organization.
Oversee area operations and financial results, including budget considerations and forecasting staffing needs.
Drive safety, compliance and adherence to procedures across the store.
Lead Leads and Team Leaders, directing daily work assignments and training needs.
