The New School’s College of Performing Arts is seeking an Overhire Production A2 to support the audio and video needs of academic performances and partner events on campus. Reporting to the Audio & Video Supervisor, you will run audio crew on stage and facilitate stage moves.
You will coordinate RF mics, set up and test microphones, and assist with setup, operation, and strike of equipment. This is an overhire role with no guaranteed weekly hours, scheduled as needed by the Audio & Video
Competenze
- Minimum 2 years of live sound experience for concerts, events, or theater.
- Strong understanding of gain structure and signal flow.
- Experience with audio software such as Wireless Workbench 6, Pro Tools, and Dante tools.
- Ability to read technical riders and stage plots.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Punctual, professional, and able to work with students and staff.
Mansioni
- Interpret and execute technical audio requirements and I/O lists.
- Set up, patch, and test microphones with the crew.
- Mix monitors for events when needed.
- Coordinate RF mics for events.
- Execute stage moves and handle equipment setup, operation, and strike.

- Adapt to varying event sizes and schedule.
