The New School's College of Performing Arts is seeking an Overhire Production A1 to support live sound for academic performances and partner events. You will oversee audio needs, mix FOH/monitors/ livestreams, and lead the audio crew under supervision.

You should have 4+ years of live sound experience, familiarity with major digital consoles, and strong knowledge of signal flow and gain structure. This is an on-site, as-needed role with potential renewals.

Formación

• At least 4 years of experience as a live sound engineer.
• Experience with Yamaha/Allen & Heath/Midas/Behringer consoles.
• Strong knowledge of gain structure and signal flow.
• Ability to interpret technical riders and run-of-show documents.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments for a smooth show.

Responsabilidades

• Mix FOH, Monitors or Streaming Audio Feeds, occasionally at the same time on the same console.
• Set up, operate, and strike equipment before, during, and after events.
• Direct audio team members to ensure completion of tasks.
• Provide professional, courteous service to all parties.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
