The job is based near Bluefield, VA with significant travel and overtime. A high school diploma or GED is required; line work experience or line-school education is preferred. A CDL must be obtained by the end of the probationary period.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, remove and inspect overhead conductors, fixtures and related equipment.
• Operate line trucks and bucket trucks; climb poles and structures at height.
• Supply tools aloft and assist in setting poles in energized areas with proper PPE.
• Maintain records and reports; participate in training and safety guidelines.
• Work under direct supervision of a qualified person.
