Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support construction, repair, and maintenance of overhead power distribution systems. You will assist a crew under the Foreman, performing physically demanding outdoor work and safety-first tasks.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing lines, maintaining equipment, and readiness for outages or emergencies. Travel and overtime may be required to support project needs across sites.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and tools in good condition.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and during outages or emergencies.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE use and insulated protections.
