Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Groundman to support crews in constructing, repairing, and maintaining overhead electrical distribution networks. The role reports to the Foreman and requires physical stamina for demanding outdoor work.

The position involves assisting with installation and repair of lines, poles, insulators and hardware, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to PPE and safety procedures. Applicants must have a valid driver\'s license; CDL is obtainable within 60 days, and willingness

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license; ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for weekends, holidays, emergencies, and overtime.
• Able to work outages and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, repair and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems.
• Help install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and safety protocols.
