Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist crews, operate and maintain equipment, and help ensure safety during all field activities.

The role involves physical labor outdoors, willingness to travel, and availability for on‑call rotations, outages, and emergencies while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, repairing and maintaining overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair power lines, poles, insulators and related hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Be available for outages, storms, emergencies and on‑call rotation.
