Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair energized and de-energized overhead distribution systems safely. Travel to multiple job sites, including out-of-state locations, may be required, reporting to the Foreman. Live-line work and equipment operation are core duties.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience or more.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Available for extended hours, weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems with safety as priority.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using proper gloves and tools.
• Operate bucket trucks and other line equipment; work outdoors in all conditions.
