Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct, repair, and maintain overhead distribution systems. The role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, with possible travel to out-of-state sites as needed. You will report to the Foreman and may join an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience are required.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew in the absence of the Employee in Charge; conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, and conductors.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and other equipment.
