Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to various job sites, and report to the Foreman.

Safety is paramount as you lead crew members and train apprentices. You must have five years of overhead line experience, hold a valid CDL, and be willing to travel long distances on short notice, including out-of-state assignments.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems, energized and de-energized.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen, ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Install and repair overhead lines, poles and related hardware; perform switching and tagging safely.
